Family Legacy

Nova HomeWorks is more than a remodeling company, it’s a family legacy. It all began in 1987, when Daniel Reed was a young boy learning carpentry at his father’s side. Those early lessons in craftsmanship sparked a passion that never faded. After years of working in the flooring industry and developing his skills, Daniel founded Nova HomeWorks in 2009. What started with flooring installations has since grown into a trusted remodeling company known for custom renovations and personal service across Northern Virginia and beyond.

Daniel Reed
Daniel’s journey in construction began at the age of 12, working alongside his father building cabinets. After high school, he entered the flooring industry professionally and has spent decades mastering his craft. Daniel has served on multiple flooring and construction boards, contributed to writing installation manuals, and tested new flooring products for leading manufacturers. He is often called upon by companies like Mohawk, Shaw, State Farm, and Allstate to perform expert inspections. Beyond his technical work, Daniel has trained and advised flooring crews across the region. Outside of work, he is a devoted father of two and an avid traveler, passionate about humanitarian work. His mission trips have taken him to places like Russia, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Cuba, the Philippines, the Dominican Republic, and Guatemala; always with a heart to help and serve.
