This custom bathroom remodel was designed as a personal sanctuary for a couple, with special attention to her vision of relaxation and comfort.
1. A Soothing Space Just for Her
This bathroom was designed with her comfort and relaxation in mind. The centerpiece is a freestanding soaking tub—sturdy and supportive, so she can safely enter and exit without strain. Positioned in the corner, the white tub acts not only as a luxurious feature, but also as a sculptural focal point. Overhead, a classic chandelier brings a touch of elegance, while a color-changing Bluetooth speaker sets the mood, turning every soak into a serene experience.

2. Shared Comfort with Personalized Details
A double walk-in shower allows both partners to enjoy their own space, with two individual shower heads, custom niches, and a central bench. The detail she valued most wasn’t the tile—it was the chair rail trim. This feature adds depth and sophistication, framing the tile on the walls, around the niches, and outlining the shower bench. It gives the space a polished, intentional look that ties everything together beautifully.

Originally, the shower felt more enclosed. To create a brighter and more open space, we reconfigured the layout by keeping just a partial-height wall and replacing the rest with clear glass panels. This keeps the water inside, but opens up the sightlines—bringing in more light and making the whole bathroom feel more spacious.

3. Dual Vanities for Daily Ease
Understanding that both partners have unique routines, we installed two vanities—one for each. She needed more time and space for her hair care, and this layout gives them both room to breathe. The vanities are rich with decorative moldings, finished in black to match the matte black hardware throughout. The white tiles with soft gray veining add a timeless contrast, creating a bathroom that feels as luxurious as it is functional.
